 It has been four years since the launch of Nano urea by Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative (IFFCO) in India. Now, it is setting up its first overseas manufacturing plant in Brazil. The Plant will be setup in the joint venture between IFFCO subsidiary IFFCO Nanoventions and Brazilian firm NANOFERT.  It is expected to produce 4.5 million litres of nano-fertilizers annually. IFFCO has already exported nano soil nutrients to over 40 countries including US, Brazil, Mauritius, Nepal and Bangladesh. The new facility in Curitiba, located in Brazil is expected to enhance IFFCO's global market presence and reduce export related costs. T he Indian Institute of Technology, Madras has recently developed a solar air conditioner based on the principle of " ABSORPTION PRINCIPLE ". It is mostly suitable for the hot and humid areas of the coastal regions of India This was Developed by Dr. M.C. Gupta and his associates at the Institute  The Main component of this system is the chemical solution that acts as a drying agent which absorbs the moisture from the room and then it regenerates the moisture by solar heating. This process dehumidifies the room. The air that is dehumidified by the drying agent is then cooled by the evaporative cooler and thus the conditioned air is entered into the room. The chemical solution that gets regenerated is the "Heart of the project".
